FBI Special Agent Rachel Walling is a literary character created by Michael Connelly in 1996 novel the Poet and starring again it its second sequel the Scarecrow thirteen years later. In the interim, Walling appeared in the first Poet sequel, the Harry Bosch novel the Narrows, as well as the Bosch novels Echo Park and the Overlook and the Mickey Haller novel The Reversal.
